Veterans, service members (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard), and dependents of disabled or deceased veterans are potentially eligible for VA educational benefits. Information is available at www.va.gov/education.

California Department of Veterans Affairs Fee Waiver

Many spouses and dependents of service-connection disabled veterans are eligible for the Cal Vet Fee Waiver. This award waives an eligible student’s tuition charges, but does not waive any campus-based fees. The Cal Vet Fee Waiver can be used at any CSU, UC, or California Community College. Applications must be submitted to any County Veterans Service Office, and the eligibility award letter must be turned in to Cal Poly Humboldt Veterans Enrollment and Transition Services (VETS) program.
