At Cal Poly Humboldt, a sustainability-focused course encompasses all three dimensions in some way, while a sustainability-related course encompasses just two of the three dimensions in some way. Students can earn a Sustainability Cord to wear at commencement after successful completion of 30 or more units of sustainability courses during their time at Cal Poly Humboldt. The cord brings greater visibility and awareness of the number of students across many different disciplines who are engaged in sustainability learning at Humboldt. Eligible graduates will be contacted and provided details on how and when to pick-up their cord.
