NRSG 348 - Development for Professional PracticeUnits: 3 This course is designed for RN-BSN students. This course focuses on socialization and development into professional nursing roles including the nurse as professional, advocate, leader, provider and coordinator/collaborator of care. The course also focuses on the nursing process using an eclectic theoretical model and discussion of selected issues in professional practice. Students are expected to utilize critical thinking skills to address the concepts of this course. Division: Upper Division Requisites: Pre-requisite: nursing major, junior standing or above. Co-requisite: NRSG 390 . Permission to enroll: No Special Consent Required Grading mode: Optional Grade Basis Weekly: Lecture 3 hrs.
