ENGR 465 - Machine Design

Units: 3

Design of mechanical elements, planar machines, pressure vessels, joints, rotating and transmission elements. Failure theories. Graphical, analytical, and numerical analysis. Synthesis of linkages, gear trains, flywheels. Hands-on labs.

Requisites: Prerequisites: ENGR 317, ENGR 322, and ENGR 226 (ENGR 325 taken prior to Fall 2023). Engineering majors only.
