Understanding medical terminology is essential for anyone interested in working in healthcare. In this class, students will develop a medical vocabulary grounded in basic medical terminology through the study of root words, prefixes, and suffixes. Students will learn correct pronunciations, spellings, and use of medical terms. Anatomy, physiology, and pathology of diseases will be discussed.
