Ecological Restoration Minor

The ecological restoration minor will help students foster an understanding of how to assist in the recovery of ecosystems that have been degraded, damaged or destroyed. This minor will train students in the principles and practices of ecological restoration.

Requirements for the Minor (16 Units)

Complete all courses in the minor with a C- or better.

BOT 105 - General Botany Units: 4
SOIL 260 - Introduction to Soil Science Units: 3
ESM 355 - Principles of Ecological Restoration Units: 3

Complete either:

FOR 315 - Forest Management Units: 3 and
FOR 431 - Forest Restoration Units: 3
or
RRS 306 - Rangeland Management Principles Units: 3 and
RRS 430 - Rangeland Restoration and Improvement Units: 3
