Geography Minor

The geography minor offers a wide range of courses in human and physical geography, as well as cartography and geospatial techniques. Students obtain a strong emphasis in geographic studies through taking two introductory classes and three additional courses in human, physical, regional or geospatial areas of specialization to develop skills in geographic concepts, ideas, and techniques.

Requirements for the Minor (15 Units)
Students must earn a minimum grade of C- in all required courses for the minor.
Geographic Foundations (6 Units)
Complete two of the following three options within the geographic foundation.
Upper Division Electives (9 Units)
Complete at least three upper division electives approved by the department chair.
