The Recreation Administration minor will provide students with a strong conceptual and experiential background in recreation to enhance many major fields of study such as (but not limited to), Kinesiology, Psychology, Child Development, Social Work, Environmental Science and Management, Business Administration, Art, and Forestry. Through this minor, students will gain knowledge and experience that will help them: develop leadership skills, design and administer recreation programs, work with diverse groups, and enhance their management skills. With the help of an advisor, students will take foundational courses and choose a selection of Recreation Administration (REC) courses in line with their personal and professional goals.
