The Certificate in Museum and Gallery Practices offers Cal Poly Humboldt students the opportunity to prepare for careers in museums and galleries, and graduate programs in archives and preservation, conservation, museum studies, curatorial studies, and related fields of study. The certificate program is interdisciplinary and includes specialized tracks for anthropology, art, environmental science and management, history and Native American studies majors. Requirements for the Certificate of Study (18-21 Units)
Internship (3 Units)
Complete 3 units of internship coursework selected from the following. Courses that are less than 3 units may be repeated for credit or paired with independent study units in consultation with an advisor. Emphases (Select One, 9-12 Units)
Anthropology Emphasis
Complete at least 9 units selected from the following: Art Emphasis
Complete at least 9 units selected from the following: Environmental Science and Management Emphasis
