Philosophy, Ethics and Values Minor

Requirements for the Minor (12 units)

For the minor, take the indicated courses and confer with members of the philosophy faculty for assistance in selecting suitable electives. Philosophy minors must earn a minimum grade of “C-” in all courses taken to fulfill the minor requirements; and must earn a minimum overall GPA of 2.00 in the minor.

PHIL 303 - Theories of Ethics Units: 3
Complete two of the following courses.
PHIL 106 - Moral Controversies Units: 3
PHIL 301 - Reflections on the Arts Units: 3
PHIL 302 - Environmental Ethics Units: 3
PHIL 304 - Philosophy of Sex & Love Units: 3
PHIL 306 - Race, Racism & Philosophy Units: 3
PHIL 371 - Contemporary Social & Political Philosophy Units: 3

Elective Courses

Complete one lower or upper division 3-unit elective in philosophy.
