Climate Justice and Resilience Leadership Certificate


The Climate Justice and Resilience Leadership is geared toward students who want a professional qualification on their transcripts to demonstrate marketable skills in climate justice skills in any sector or career path.

  • Units: 1 (may be substituted for one practicum)

Program Learning Outcomes


After successfully completing this certificate, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how sustainability and the climate crisis are connected to racism, colonialism, and structural injustice.
  • Activate learning to build skills needed to participate as a sensitive actor in building the justice movement. 
  • Implement skills needed for personal resilience and to sustain collective capacity-building efforts.
