Ecological principles as applied in coastal marine habitats: rocky shores, sandy beaches, bay flats, and nearshore waters. Numerous field trips; one weekend trip. Individual and group studies a major part of lab work.

Requisites: Prerequisite: BIOL 330 and ZOOL 314, or their equivalents; all with a grade of C- or higher.

Grading mode: Optional Grade Basis
Weekly: Seminar 2 hrs. Laboratory 3 hrs.
