Three weekends, or one 5-day field trip, through geologic provinces of northern California: the Coast Ranges, Klamath Mountains, Cascade Range, Modoc Plateau, northern Sierra Nevada, and Great Valley. Cannot count for geology majors as upper division geology area of specialization.
