A minor in Chemistry will benefit students earning a degree in the physical or biological sciences who are planning on pursuing employment or graduate degrees that are related to the chemical sciences.

Requirements for the Minor (25 Units)
Students must earn a minimum grade of C- in all courses with the “CHEM” prefix for the chemistry minor. In accordance with university policy, students are generally prohibited from earning a major and minor from the same degree program. Students may not major in Chemistry or Biochemistry, and also earn a minor in Chemistry. Upper Division
Complete 15 approved units, including at least one of the following sequences. A minimum of 8 upper division units must be earned at Cal Poly Humboldt. Approved Elective Courses
