Kinesiology, Health Promotion Concentration, B.S.

Professionals in the health promotion field, work to promote and educate the public on health and the prevention of disease and illness. A degree in health promotion can provide students with the skills necessary to gain employment in a variety of community health settings, including public health departments, hospital-based health programs, professional and commercial health organizations, and corporate health settings among others. The curriculum also helps to prepare students to sit for recognized professional certification examinations including the Certified Health Education Specialist Exam.

Kinesiology Core: 44-47 units + Health Promotion Concentration 30 units = 74-77 units for the major.
